Mac OS X Instructions:
Instructions
- After
downloading, double-click
installE.dmg (If you do not see "installE.dmg", then click on "installE.dmg.zip" to create it)
Once the installer has been mounted you will
see a directory containing Flashcard Suite and some support files.
Copy this entire directory to anywhere to like on your hard drive.
Notes
- Requires
Mac OS X 10.1 or later
- The
compressed installer should be recognized by Stuffit Expander
and should automatically be expanded after downloading. If it
is not expanded, you can expand it manually using StuffIt
Expander 6.0 or later.
- You
will see two versions of Flashcard Suite: The first is simply
named "Flashcard Suite" and is the one you should normally
use. The second is named "Flashcard Suite for Java 1.3.1"
and should be used if you are having problems with fonts (Apple's
Java 1.4.x implementation will not load certain fonts and instead
presents a default so this second version of Flashcard Suite
reverts to the older Java 1.3.1 in which the font support does
work)
